I can't see either going to the bench unless they just flat don't hit. Holland is gonna hit and we need his LH bat. Gridley is perfect 9 hole guy. Little turd that pesters the shit out of the opposing team.
Also if we find Gridley playing 3b gets overmatched by sec pitching, which I highly doubt, you can put the veteran Britton at third while you don't have to move Holland back to 2b.

I think it's being young and trying to be perfect. See it all the time in talented freshman. He should be fine he just needs to relax and let it go. First thing I would do is speed him up. His tempo adjustment will do wonders. Good observation.

Two things: Holland is NOT a 1st baseman and Lovelady has a gun.........
We've had four or five errors that would have never happened had Wes Rea been healthy. Lovelady has been OUTSTANDING........
