funny story and a little off topic... I'm staying in a hotel in Mobile, and decide it's time for a smoke and take a break from the game. Come back in from the smoke and a couple guys in the lobby watching the game see my M-State shirt and make some off hand comment, and I respond with "We were number one"... shut 'em up...

other than their RB (#21?) Oregon is "what we/I thought they were".... fast and soft....

they can't take that away. it's insane to think about though. we weren't on this playing field earlier. Ohio State or a Oregon would've crushed us in this game, but early on we we're pretty damn good.

What caused the collapse for us? Did we get satisfied with being #1? We were not the same team after we reached #1

We got figured out (too predictable) and the defense just quit.... (or forgot fundamentals)
