This game is tougher to watch than the 3-2 auburn football game

We did nothing well tonight other than play defense for large portions of the game.

That's the thing: we don't do anything well. We don't rebound, we don't box out, we don't pass, we don't shoot (2s, 3s, or FT's), we don't run any semblance of an offense, etc. etc. We have moments/bursts were we seemingly play good defense (probably having more to do with the shittiness of the SEC as a whole though; not a lot of shooters or handlers), but then we give up a huge run and look like total garbage.
We suck.

Theres been more 3 points at the shot clock buzzer against us than against any team in basketball history.
God hates Rick ray. There's no doubt we suck, but we have just terrible luck bite us again and again every game

This is a shitttttyyyyyy TN team, though. They looked absolutely horrible, and I don't think it was because of our defense.

Bottom line Stands should have never been fired.. Why? Because we didn't already have an adequate replacement lined up.

Stricklin deserves to be fired right now for this hire. this is not Ray's fault. Stricklin is not SEC AD qualified. Stricklin needs to go yesterday... his 17 ups are mounting and the bleeding needs to stop yesterday.

This is another one of those games that make it pretty clear that Ray has no shot.

20 missed free throws and 1 made 3 pointer pretty much sums up the evening

the search should begin with a new AD....Stricklin needs to pack his bags... we don't need that dumbass making anymore decisions that have consequences.

Probably true, but Stricklin is Bailey Howell's son-in-law, and Howell more than likely has a good deal of influence with Keenum, and Keenum is probably reluctant to do anything. I think Howell was probably instrumental in getting Stricklin hired in the first place. Just my opinion. which could be totally wrong. Maybe Stricklin was better than anyone else that applied for the job.

Under Stricklin's watch our football team reached #1 for the first time ever and had one of its 2 or 3 best seasons since integration.
Under Stricklin's watch our baseball team had its best season ever.
Under Stricklin's watch our women's basketball team is likely to have its best season ever.
Under Stricklin's watch our softball team has turned from a bottom-feeder to a legitimately good program.
Under Stricklin's watch our men's tennis team has turned from a bottom-feeder to a legitimately good program.
Under Stricklin's watch our women's golf team has turned from a horrendous bottom-feeder to a legitimately great program.
Under Stricklin's watch our track and field teams have consistently gotten better and better.
Under Stricklin's watch our women's soccer team still blows but it's not any worse than it was when he started.
Under Stricklin's watch our women's volleyball team still blows but it's not any worse than it was when he started.
Under Stricklin's watch our entire athletic stature has noticeably risen.
Even if Ray doesn't turn this around and gets fired, he made more us embarrassing on the court, in exchange for a lot less embarrassing off the court. And even if you don't like that trade, even if you absolutely despise it, the good far outweighs the bad under Stricklin. I'll gladly tank one sport that we weren't that good at anyway in exchange for a bunch of other ones getting much better.

Of course, I think for the main 2 on that list (football and baseball), the obvious rebuttal that people will have is that Stricklin didn't hire Mullen or Byrne. I'm not anti-Stricklin by any means, but that stands out immediately.
