    Question about QB and our bowl game...

    Since our bowl game is going to be after the first of the year, that wouldn't allow us to play Fitzgerald without burning his redshirt, would it? Probably a dumb question, but I remember Fitz enrolling early and practicing for the bowl game last year.....so I was wondering if that meant his second season technically starts at the end of December? Not that he would play much if any, but would be cool to get him some snaps. I feel 99% sure that he would NOT be able to play without burning his redshirt, but thought I would ask to be sure.

    I'm pretty sure we would burn his redshirt if he played in the bowl game. And even if I'm wrong, it wouldn't be worth doing unless there was an injury to both Dak and Damien.

    Correct...it would burn the redshirt for Fitz. He cannot play until next season.

    If we have any early enrollees they can go through bowl practices though.
