is on SportsCenter this morning telling us MSU fans to be prepared to get dropped out of the 4th spot after Championship week. All smug like. Fu@k we need an upset in one of these final games so bad. Come on Texas, Michigan, Florida, Auburn. Pretty strong four traditionally to need just one win from.
-
Brad Edwards said on OOB yesterday that he would be "shocked" if Bama, Oregon, FSU, and OSU did not lose a game this week or next, and I tend to agree with him. The pressure is mounting and teams will crack. Remember last year how all those top teams lost in the past 1-2 weeks? Expect the same to happen this year. Assuming we take care of business against OM, that's all we need to happen to stay in the top-4.

3 of the 7 will lose...
At least...

Let's just not be one of them. Bama winning iron bowl may be a good thing

I hope everybody wins out so that when we still make it, everyone will wonder why they were so wrong.

I wish there were some way to play Ohio State in the 2-3 game.

Ohio state is our biggest threat to me if they win the Big ten championship I feel the committee will put them in
I think if Florida state gets by Florida , Georgia tech will take them down and we are looking at Bama, Oregon, MSU, Ohio State

I would give my right one to somehow end up playing Ohio State in the playoffs.
-
Why? What leads you to believe that's the committee's plan?

Agree, but it will be because FSU, Bama, Oregon, OSU, or TCU lose, not only the fact that we won. At least 1 of those will lose in the next 2 weeks. Mark it down.

The committee is keeping Ohio State 6th for a reason. They arent jumping anybody.

Just a big fatty taking up space. I guess he played ball somewhere that people think he's relevant.

This, Ohio State is 6th, not 5th and they are 6th for a reason.
That being said, do we really want TCU to lose?
I'm wondering if a Big 12 tie is in our best interest.

We need one of those teams to lose. We will get jumped if everyone continues to win out.
-
We won't get jumped by anyone. For one, the big twelve doesn't have a real conference champ. Two, conference titles are just a part of the equation, and will be discussed if things are equal. Ohio state cannot get equal to us, therefore rendering that conference title irrelevant, because their loss is an anchor on their chances. Win and we are in.

No we won't. Geez, some of you guys are going overboard with this. We looked like crap against KY and they kept us there. We lost to Alabama and they kept us in the top 4. Our previous opponents have dropped out of the top 25 but they've kept us in there. Talking heads on ESPN are openly campaigning for OSU but they've kept them sixth. We win saturday, and we are in, no matter what anyone else does. It's that simple.
The head of the friggin' committee is the AD for Arkansas - an SEC West team. His own coach is playing in the SEC West after going to multiple rose bowls at a Big 10 school. They know who the best four teams in the country are, and that's who is going to get in. All we have to do is win saturday.
-
You guys really think the committee would drop a team out that has been in EVERY poll so far in the top 4?
I'm not saying your wrong, because I don't know anything. Bo Bounds is on the black helicopters, market size, MSU is going to get screwed bandwagon as well.
I'm just saying that their is no evidence yet by the committee to insinuate that they will do this. That's all. Believe what you want, but as of right now, the committee really likes and has shown no signs of screwing us.
Personally, I believe if they planned on screwing us, they would already have us out of the top 4 or have Ohio State at 5.
