Strength of Schedule
According to ESPN our SOS is tougher than...FSU, TCU,Baylor, Ohio State.
Only Oregon and Bama is tougher of the 1loss or undefeated teams according to them.

Hopefully the committee looks at that. I'm sure they do.

IMO, you can throw out our entire schedule and look at two games. At LSU and At Alabama.
The problem with "strength of schedule" rankings is that it weighs every game and not just the games you are most likely to lose. In a college football world, where apparently a 5 point loss at Alabama, dooms you and losses to Virginia Tech and West Virginia don't, it isn't about your total strength of schedule, it's about which game you are very likely to lose.
Due to having to play at Alabama and at LSU, there was no team this year that was more likely to lose one game than MSU, regardless of how difficult the rest of their schedule was.
