were we after any of their commits that might be opening their recruitment back up again? Not that we have room really. Just curious.

Florida haven't been a major player for McNair for months. They only have 9 commits so it's not many to choose from. The 2 guys we have a previous relationship with Derrick Dillon & George Brown both are saying they're still 100% committed.

Not as worried about kicker at this point. Punter , however, is another matter entirely.

No offense but sobes can't kick over 40 yards. How are we good on a kicker?

he's 89% when he trots on to the field. that would probably break a record if he had enough kicks.

I don't think people realize how good this guy is going to be.

The fact that he only has 3 stars is laughable.

I understand that. But there are spots on the field in which we are either forced to punt or go for it b/c our kicker doesn't have enough leg to even attempt it. And counting PAT in the 89% is definitely reaching.

It's unlikely anybody is going to come in and take Sobiesks spot at this point. If we get a kicker, they would probably be a long range specialist and maybe kickoff if they wanted cooke to focus on punting. At the end of a half or game we may wish we had somebody taht could kick out to 50 or 55, but I think usually it makes us better b/c it makes us be more aggrsesive on 4th down on our half of the field, which I think most teams would benefit from but especially us with the ability to run Dak.
