Major Quandry - Need ED's Help
So, my go to beverage for watching the State games this season has been Sam Adams Octoberfest. I was in the grocery store today to replenish my stash for Saturday and noticed that it looks like they won't be carrying it any more. There are no more 12-packs on the shelf and they only had a few sixers left.
I did what any responsible State fan would do and purchased the remaining inventory, so I think we'll be fine for Kentucky. However, with my limited supply, we could be in trouble for Arky and certainly for UTMartin.
The question is, what do I do now? Do I switch to an Octoberfest from a different brewer knowing that even their inventory likely won't make it through the season, or do I switch to Sam Adam's new seasonal and hope they have it on the shelves before the Arkansas game?
I know this was poor planning on my part and I apologize, but who here realistically thought we would run the table on LSU, TAMU, and Auburn?

HaHa. Never have a seasonal beer as your go to beer for football season. This is just another lessen we have to learn that we didn't know because we've never been in the situation of being this good before.
I bought some Sweetwater IPA and 420 on the way to the LSU game and that's all I've drank since then. I really think you should just start driving and check every store you come to and see if you can build up enough inventory to last the season. Otherwise you're going to have to make some kind of deal with the dead Indians. Maybe some type of beer sacrifice or something.

Fat Tire would be a good substitute.

there are aeverl ocktoberfests made now. try a few others one weeknight and stock up. however, I'd check some other stores for your preferred brand first. you could probably find enough to get you through a few more weeks. I think it sells through Halloween at least.

Pacifico is my go to beer all season, not planning to switch.

I suggest just switching to Tito's and some OceanSpray grape cranberry and be done with it. You won't be sorry
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Try any Marzen style beer that's what Sam Adams Octoberfest is. It's a really soild representation of the style. But there are others.

just keep drinking good craft beer. I never drink the same beer even in the same sitting let alone different games.

As LC mentioned, I want to make sure I appease the Injuns.
Worst case, I can go Boston Lager and I know it'll be around. Better make the switch before Bama game week, though.

If ya really think grape juice is keeping you healthy....Come on over and run a spartan race with me in a couple weeks.

Coach. Try Monopolawa vodka. Save you $4 a fifth and just as smooth as the super premium stuff.

Abita Oktoberfest is good too

Only drink an adams octoberfest if we lose the lead. Drink the others as long as we hold the lead. Spread them out. Keep the mojo.
