    Kennedy is recruiting him very hard and

    So is Stansbury. Rick Ray and George Brooks are hustling but can't seem to get the deal closed.

    No inside info at all...

    I think we stand a good chance to get Malik, but I think he wants to see if ray can right the ship. If we show considerable improvement, I think we win the newman sweepstakes. If we have another dumpster fire season, bye bye Malik

    Agreed. I think both he and his dad want to see Ray be competitive this season. Just SOMETHING to prove that he can be successful. I think we need to at least be over .500 in the SEC and be in contention, or in, the NIT.

    I'd say Ray is already being successful this season. We haven't heard a peep about the basketball team since August. Meaning no transfers, suspensions or injuries (knocks on wood). That's promising and rare in the college basketball world.
