Someone with screenshot skills go to Chris Fowler' s twitter.....
If I read correctly:
Someone asks him about doing a split Gameday broadcast from both Starkville and Oxford.
He replies they are kicking around different ideas.
Actually, that's a pretty clever idea.
Better yet have it halfway in between the two campuses. I'm too lazy to mapquest what that would be.
Maybe Chris Jones front yard in Houston?
-
I thin doing a split Gameday would be awesome for the state and something Gameday hasn't done before. Send Chris, Corso, & Samantha somewhere, and send Kirk and Desmond the other place & Pollack to the other place.

I was talking to someone about that very idea today. It would be great for the state and it would be cool as heck on the biggest sports day in the history of Mississippi.
-
It really is a great idea.
Assuming UM and A&M take care of business this weekend, 4 of the top 15 (maybe less with some luck and couple voters getting their head out of their ass) teams playing within a little over an hour of each other.
-
OM would lose it if they have to share their long awaited gameday.

Don't you mean they'd be ecstatic if we let them have half of our Gameday??? Our State man.
-
I HATE the idea! Why should Mississippi schools have to SHARE Gameday. I bet Texas and ATM wouldn't share. Heck, no two self respecting programs would stoop that low.
Death penalty or bust!!!***

I could care less about College Gameday, but I would LMAO if that happened because of the reb meltdown.

Haha

Has game time been set? Isn't 12 a very real possibility? If you have a meet in the middle gameday with us starting at 12 and om at 230, the attendance would really suffer IMO

Gotta be somewhere on 389, maybe Montpelier or Mantee. Would definitely bring out the Pheba crowd.

I wasn't connected at all yesterday. Why is 12:00 a "very real possibility?"
-
I hate this idea, honestly.
If ESPN wants to go to both schools, go to Ole Miss on 10/4 and us on 10/11. Or just screw Ole Miss and go to us on 10/4.
We've waited over a decade to get Gameday, so don't make us share it. Give us one that's our own.

I can't find where Fowler said this. Where did you see this tweet?
Here is Folwer's twitter timeline

Seems impossible to actually out the sets up at both schools. Will be entirely possible for some of them to head over to Starkville for a remote broadcast though for a portion of it

Espn has mich st-Nebraska (pretty sure) already set at prime time. Lsu-auburn will be a big game too so it'll get a big slot. OM- bama will be 230. Tenn-georgia is 12 this week so I'm guessing we could get the same slot. I'm hoping for us-aTm and auburn-lsu getting 5pm and 8pm. It was strictly guessing and really hoping we don't get 12

How so? They currently have a Gameday crew and SEC Nation crew. They have plenty of equipment. You know damn well that whatever game Gameday isn't going to, SEC Nation is. How hard would it be to sync the broadcasts creatively? Not easy, but not too difficult either.

It was a response, so you don't see it on his timeline, but if you do a search it shows up as a response to @griffinannie.
griffinannie @griffinannie
@cbfowler How about a dual location Gameday from Starkville and Oxford in two weeks. Hell of a doubleheader little over an hour apart.
