MSU has a real chance vs LSU. "They don't have a player on defense like Knemdiche or Prewitt that is known Nationally...but they have a good defense."
I'm at a loss for words. McKinney and Jones arent "name players" I guess.

Ha, he is a NFL scout of college football Bounds is interviewing. How can a guy like that not know McKinney at least?

We really need to win this game. Our fan base has been beat down so long in the series against LSU that they now give up on this game every year.

If we scheduled more high profile non-conference games, they would know our defense by now. LSU game will be our D's coming out party to the nation.

I do know who he is now.
He knows who they are, or he is AWFUL at his job. He may be just saying they're not household names.

I don't think he was saying we don't have any players that aren't just as good or that he's never heard of them. I think he just saying they aren't NATIONAL names. Robert Nkemdiches could be a total bust but people would still know his name... Even people who aren't scouts or follow football that closely. This isn't anything we didn't already know.

Bo Bounds got caught of guard this morning when a caller asked about LSU's QB passing #s and could he really burn our secondary. He said of course he could. Then the caller started to bring up stats v Wisc and Bo cut him off and reiterated how "good" LSU's QB is.

Surely an nfl scout knows the name of someone who Mel kiper said could've had a chance in the first couple rounds last year. Surely he's not that bad at his job.....

He is, or at least was, a football scribe at Rivals.com. Has pretty much always been a dick to us.

This is why we aren't ranked. We are a better team than ole miss yet nobody outside of Mississippi (and SEC coaches) know anything about us.

Wow. Some of you are looking at this the wrong way.
Mike was saying something positive about our program. And you take one phrase that compares us to OM and run with it. Who cares if we aren't as well known as any school he would have said. He's saying we have a good D. Take the positives and ignore the negatives.
If we take care of business everything will work out in the end. I've read this board for months, most of ya'll have no clue what your talking about and your obsession of OM clouds your rationale. I'll admit mine gets clouded at times as well, but damn guys... we aren't playing OM on Saturday. We are playing LSU.

I don't listen to the Out of Bounds show but nothing I hear about Bo makes me want to listen to him.
