There is a thread started by a poster over there that says OM needs to take ULL and HUD seriously this season.
Another Bear seriously responds, "I refuse to get worried about a team full of unrated players."

It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Yep. Unrated and 2*s. Nothing to worry about. Ole Miss will beat them by 50+ in front of a packed house in the first game in the Vaught. No way a Sun Belt team can stick around an elite team like OM.

just make sure you tweet it to hud.

Eight All-SEC players, 4 future first round picks on defense (per Booger), the best D-Line in the conference, the best safety tandem in America, future first rounders at LT and WR, a stable of running backs, the best returning QB in the SEC, etc...
How can that team NOT win the SEC and make the playoff?

its gonna be funny when ULL beats them. And im calling it right now, its gonna happen.

If Ole Miss comes out and play like they did Thursday ULL will put it on them. Hud has them believing. Ole Miss should beat them going away but if they play three quarters like they did Thursday they could be in trouble.

Another comment from that same thread"
"They like to run the ball much more than pass, and I don't think they'll have much success running against this DL."
Boise ran to the tune of 135 yards with an overmatched O-line. From what I watched of the game they were able to break off some runs...especially around the ends. I think if BSU can reach 135, ULL could go for close to 200, and a power running SEC team could name their yardage on the ground.

It's not gonna happen......UM wins that game but ULL will keep it close.............

game will be very similar to the boise game. close for the first half, OM pulls away in the 2nd and makes it look like they dominated

Not sure I'd expect a good SunBelt team to do better than a pretty good Mountwain West team. There is a reason we like to schedule SunBelt teams. You have competent coaches, and you basically will win.

Id say ULL is better than Boise. HUD has been accumulating some underrated talent and coaching them up. That offense is difficult to defend as well. Similar to Boise's offense but ULL should be more athletic. I picked ULL to beat them all along. I may be wrong but I feel a lot better after watching them struggle this past Thursday.

Didn't Hud beat out LSU for a 4* last year? And he also picks up transfers from other SEC programs that were 3*.

Wish it would happen, but it wont. The talent gap is too big to predict any SEC team (Vandy not included) to lose to a Sun Belt team. Will probably be close due to coaching, but OM has too much talent and will make the plays late in quarters/the game to win against tired players. Just like most average SEC teams would
