    Kinda ot: Andre Woodson. Former UK qb

    Watching an old ky replay. This guy had some huge stats and broke the record for most td tosses in a season. He was drafted by the giants but never made it last a practice squad. Pretty surprising considering he could throw the ball pretty well. Anyone remember why he never amounted to much?

    He probably never amounted to much because we mentally and physically beat him around his senior year in Lexington and scarred him. 3 picks that game and that was when the whispers of Andre for Heisman were beginning.

    But honestly I don't know what happened. I don't think he had a next level arm. He was a good college QB that played behind a not so good OL. He had a couple weapons but Woodson never really seemed to have that IT factor to get to the next level and be successful.

    Same game on right now has brian brohm on the other side for lousiville. He had a ton of hype too but never cut it in the league either.

    Seems the knock on Brohm was maybe a weaker arm. Woodson might have been his release that teams didnt like. Either way both great college qbs.
