Oh Dawg61, we made our first signings today, Dutch goalkeeper Michel Vorm and left back Ben Davies both from Swansea, in return we've given them attacking midfielder Gylfi Thor Siggurdson

Yeah, I'd say we are the least racist and most cosmopolitan. In North London we have vibrant Jewish, Greek and Turkish communities with the more common West Indian, African, Arab, Indian sub-continent that you get in London. I live in central London so I'm in no-mans land. I know you know but we hate Arsenal. I went out to a park then to dinner with a friend, I flipped off every man/women/child or sign I saw wearing Arsenal, and also their stadium. You must learn to HATE

Hmmmm, hmmmmm, I dunno... it is a tough one, we have him and Benoit Assou Ekotto in the position along with youth player Zeki Fryers but I'd keep him over the other two. If he is sold then probably some time in August, though I'll always remember him for his first ever touch in a Spurs shirt against Arsenal when we hadn't beaten them in the league for years.

It was expected to happen soon, and with signing Davies I think it'll happen.
I, as a Madrid fan, also want to thank spurs for developing some of our talent for us lol

Oi, non of that. I'm going to be honest we are Europa League quality, we could win it and were unlucky in the competition, in the CL.... we will get smacked around the place it'll be humiliating. Hopefully one (or more of) FA cup, League Cup and the Europa League and I'll be delighted with next season... or just us finishing above Arsenal.

Would be nice to finish in the top four, get knocked down to Europa and win it then tho. But I don't consider English teams to be favorites in any European competition. So it'll be tough for them to win hardware in Europe regardless of CL or Europa

Eh we went out to the eventual runner ups because of a dodgy reff whilst playing our B team with no centre backs, so we are good enough. We could take Sevilla.

Transfer update, my Dynamo have signed USMNT player Demarcus Beasley and make him the designated player.

I just don't think the English game and style, at least recently, matches well with German and mainly Spanish clubs of equal/greater talent.
Not sure you guys would beat a Sevilla or Valencia right now.

Valencia are very week financial sense and could get taken apart by transfers, Sevilla are also picked upon by bigger outfits. If it comes down to the calibre of the players we are superior. For Spurs last season was painful however as we were significantly less than the sum of our parts, we have the potential to be great.

Oh, I realize the finances of teams like that are far from good. And yes, they consistently lose their best players to big clubs (Negredo, Navas, David Silva, Rakitic), but they're still beating the English clubs in Europe. Both in the CL and Europa they are winning and the English clubs aren't performing up to their financial status recently.

I don't know about that as well, I cannot remember the last time and English team played a Spanish team, oh wait, yeah, last season in the Europa league Swansea played Valencia. Swansea finished 12th in the Premier League, beat Valencia 3-0 at the Mestalla and lost 1-0 and the Liberty... last season Spurs won 1-0 against Swansea at the Lane and 3-1 at the Liberty... yeah, we could beat Valencia.

I know what you're saying, but that doesn't always mean the same thing will happen. There are circumstances that change. I'm talking about the general struggles of English clubs in the CL recently and the success of Spanish clubs in both European leagues, which has been far and away better than English clubs.
That trend is what I'm referring to, and that trend makes me lean Spanish or German when playing an English team no matter who it is

Well that is the beauty of football/soccer if it was written on paper it wouldn't be very interesting. We'll see when the European season starts!
