Most of the posts of mine are just from knowledge, but I use espnfc.com to keep up with transfers. They have an article that's always updating for transfers that's really good.
If you're looking for team info, I would say use espnfc, fox soccer, the team website, and British ones like sky sports

Hey you're the other Newcastle owner! Welcome to mediocrity..haha. There's not a lot of news on Newcastle because they haven't done anything particularly interesting yet. I believe they've lost a guy or two on the transfer market, and the only guy that I've seen they have signed is Siam de Jong, a decent player. I'll be honest that I'm a little disappointed about not knowing a single name on their roster, but I haven't done too much research to find out who our key players are. If you do any research about our team let me know what you find! I'll do the same for you.
And **** Sunderland

Liverpool update: The Reds have sold the player of the year Luis Suarez to Barcelona for 75 million-pounds. Suarez had an outstanding 2013-14 season, scoring 31 goals in 33 Premier League appearances.
Liverpool is bringing in a new player also named Lazar Markovic from Benfica. The only thing I know about him is that he doesn't speak English.

It's a good flick. Has a lot of very old Brit actors from Bond films and PBS stuff you will recognize. You can watch it on youtube I think.

ESPN also had a bunch of 30 for 30 shorts during the World Cup that were all futbol oriented. They should be online.

And it has Claire Forlani - of DeWars fame
I rented The Class of 92 this weekend about Manchester United's fames youth group of Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, etc and the impact they had on twenty years of English Football. Got great reviews and was educational to watch.
Other good free media on Youtube - type in Legends of the Barclays Premier League and take your pick. ESPN 30 mites UK shows about various premier league greats. Kind of like NFL Films or 'A Football Life'

The Eurotrip scenes with the Manchester United hooligans rocks. The lead hooligan Vinnie Jones played for United and a several other teams - bit of a thug.

There is a soccer version of The Longest Yard called Mean Machine starring Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham that is pretty good as well.

Tottenham talks about growth of US soccer and is expecting a tough match vs the Sounders on Saturday.
The first game of our trip to the USA and Canada is now less than a week away, with Seattle Sounders set to welcome us to CenturyLink Field for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, kick-off 1pm local time (9pm UK time).
We’ll then travel to Canada to face Toronto FC next Wednesday (July 23), before returning to the States to oppose Chicago Fire the following Saturday (July 26).
After the impressive displays of the USA national team at the recent World Cup finals in Brazil, Steffen expects our MLS opponents will reflect the progressive style exhibited by their international colleagues when we face them in the coming days.
“Football is growing in America – so is the MLS,” said our 44-year-old Coach. “You can really feel it. At the World Cup when the States played against Portugal in the first round, over 25 million people watched the game so it’s definitely getting bigger.
“We know from when we played in America two years ago how difficult it is to play against MLS teams. You can see from the fact that the likes of Clint Dempsey and Jermain Defoe – players from the highest level – have signed for Seattle and Toronto.
“Of course, we have to try to beat them when we go there and it will be really important experience for everyone.
“It’s always a challenge for every player to win games. We’re in pre-season at the moment and it’s clear to see how hard the players are working. The games all form part of the preparation for the first game of the season against West Ham.”

And where might you be getting this? If you'd understandably rather not post such info for public consumption, feel free to PM me.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Also worth noting, Jermaine Jones of the USMNT is dropping hints about coming to MLS. That would be another big boost for the league.

Maybe he will sign with one of the new franchises about to start. One is in NY and one is in Miami I believe. Both will need a big name player or two to sell to the fans.
