    Postseason SOS

    Lifted from the Pack...

    MSU avg opp RPI of 18.3
    UCLA = 35.2
    UNC = 43.2
    OSU = 44.8
    IU = 54.3
    UL = 56.2
    NCSU = 57.8
    Corndogs = 70.4
    That is supposed to be the average RPI of the opposition which each team has faced in regionals and super regionals.

    By definition, the high seeds are supposed to face lower strength competition. So don't infer from this that an LSU somehow is less deserving of being in the CWS than we are. They earned the right for an easier path through the regionals.

    Given a choice, I'd rather be a national seed. But I like how our road to the CWS has prepared us to compete in the CWS.

    We won the toughest regional. Then we beat a national seed on the road. The tough way in isn't preferable - UNLESS your way through it. I think our path to get to Omaha was good prep to make a strong run.

    Kinda surprised to see that UL stat, considering they played Vandy (doubtless the biggest underachiever of the tourney!) twice.
