The miss played ball in CF was the difference in the game. He makes the routine play and they don't score a run that inning.

Man, y'all are quick to overreact.
Im not going to get worried until I see them beat UVA once. They haven't beaten UVA since that kid hit a walk off homer against them, and UVA has been winning ever since.

The Bears MIGHT win tomorrow night if they get a once in a lifetime pitching performance from the Massy kid but there's no way in hell they beat Virginia's big lefty on Saturday. He may no hit them this time around.
I'm ready for their sorry asses to lose. Those SOBs have been playin with a horseshoe stuck up Sikes's orifice ever since the Regional in Oxford , the town I like to refer to as the Gateway to Omaha. It's time their luck runs out.

That's kind of what I figured Bianco would do. And then if they win, he'll bring Trent back on three. After both threw 100+ pitches.
I think UVA is making the right decision going with their three. Yeah- his W/L record is not spectacular, but his ERA is pretty good and he has 67 K's in 71 IP. I'm of the belief that you go with a fresh arm if at all possible.

No doubt he will throw Trent on Saturday if it gets to that.

It's very bizarre.
Since their regional, UM is 4-0 in elimination games and 0-2 in non-elimination games. They are also 5-1 in games decided by two runs or less this postseason, and the one loss really should have been a blowout to UVA in game one. You'd certainly think that they've played with fire long enough to get burned, but it just hasn't happened yet. I mean shit, they score three runs today because an outfielder misplayed a routine fly ball.
ETA: It's like they've saved up all their luck from the past 10 years and have used it all in one postseason.

Its comforting to here somebody else who shares my POV. That tournament seperates the boys from the men abd I've seen us try to run the gontlet last year and seen how tuff it is. The red britches ain't got it in em to run the train. I gotta admit I got in to teh Evan Williams white label in the bear game
