Hunter Renfroe
I know it's been talked about some but Renfroe is absolutely mashing at A+, look at these current numbers.
66 games, .296 Bavg, 42 R, 19 2B, 16 HR, 52 RBI, 9 SB, .369 OBP, .562 SLG, .961 OPS.
we got us a mini-Trout in minor leagues right now boys. Ok maybe not quite but still he is killing it.

Side note- did Adidas design the Eugene Emeralds uniforms.
I'm thinking that Renfroe will finish up the year in AA- which I believe is San Antonio for the Padres if I'm not mistaken.

Correct. I think he will be called up to double a shortly. Will struggle a little bit early. Then get better closer to seasons end. Will get invited to spring training next spring. He will start next year in double a then be a call up for the padres.

He also has like an 11 game hitting streak

I didn't know the emeralds had stepped up to A+. Back when I was in Eugene they were short season rookie ball.

He's not currently with the Ems...he's with the Lake Elsinore Storm. That's the A+ program for the Padres.

Ah I guess between the pic and uni comment I thought he was there. Would've made sense that they bumped up to A+ too if they were sharing the new Oregon stadium. We had a player or 2 play for the emeralds while I was there too, but I'm totally blanking at the moment.

Yes, he does. The only question is whether or not he'll be able to have enough pitch recognition and patience at the higher levels.
If he can maintain a walk rate like he has at A+ right now and continue developing the ability to recognize and lay off of breaking balls, he's going to be a fantastic player. Because in terms of power, speed, defensive ability, and arm strength, there may only be a handful of players right now at the MLB level who can compare.
