    Pirtle had to get a spot. You don't get 11 hits in the Regional without getting some recognition. He was this year's Frazier.

    Me too, because he definitely deserved to be there. I was concerned because he and Conrad were both at 2b.

    Been following Msu baseball since 1970, I just can't recall a better overall 2nd baseman for us, especially coming from Juco and only playing two years. He has been great!
