    Because Cohen is obsessed with the "matchup" being by the book. He would as soon have lefty batting .100 against a righty as he would a righty batting .400 against a righty. Same with righty batting against a lefty. A LH hitter does normally have more trouble with LH pitching but righty batters against righty pitching isn't usually much of an issue.
