Currently OM sits at 6 in RPI. USM is sitting at 12 while we are at 18. The reason they are ahead of us even though both have slightly worse records is because OM has a SOS of 4 and USM has a SOS of 7 while our SOS sits at 33. THIS is why we HAVE to stop playing 3 SWAC games in a season. Some of these other teams we choose to play OOC go up and down in RPI from year to year but you know from the start that ANY SWAC team you play will be a constant drag on your RPI. Could end up costing us a hosting spot if we are borderline like we are now.
Exactly! I should have read this post before I made mine. Our fans drive me crazy defending this non-sense.
