16 Host sites.
Teams likely to host as of today:
Big Ten- UCLA, USC (Nebraska/Oregon with work to do)
ACC- Ga Tech/Fla St/NC (Virginia is pretty close to being likely as well- their schedule down the stretch is fairly easy)
Big 12- (WV or Kansas only ones with a chance)
Others- Oregon St/Coastal/Nasty Bunch (Missouri St has a 15 RPI a couple of good wins- does the committee reward them like they did a couple of teams a couple years ago????)
SEC- Texas/Fla (Texas is 2nd in RPI- Fla 5th)
So while things could certainly change- at least 10 host spots are already about locked in. That leaves 6 more up for grabs with Va likely to get one of those.
Honestly would be very surprised if USM hosted. They're fading and they just lost to Louisiana Lafayette. They have a big series against Texas State this weekend.
