Boy, only sport we don't suck at, and we still get put in our place when facing highly ranked teams

Just can't play Georgia pitching with this umpire crew rewarding any curve ball again and we'll be fine.
And Georgia won't hit this well in Omaha which is where we'd have to see them again.

Nah. They exposed every phase of State?s game. Bad bullpen, Bad Defense, weak hitting against quality pitching.

We'll be OK, but we're not going to be the #1 national seed like I hoped 48 hours ago. We'll still host and we could absolutely get hot in June and make a deep run.

Doesn't matter where we spend it, we miss state

On the bright side, no one will even know this happened outside of Starkville, Athens, and Oxford.

Probably just the few uGA fans that showed up in Starkville. They swept State in front of well over 30,000 which it would take uGA at least 4 home series to draw!

Our offense is struggling right now. We are just not seeing the ball well right now. No better example than in the 9th where Bryce won't swing at strike 3 right in the middle of the plate while Stallman strikes out on a ball that hit the dirt before reaching the plate. A&M put 18 runs on this Georgia team on Sunday. Five runs today was never going to cut it. And that is to go with the one pitiful run we scored last night. This series sweep has much more to do with our offense and catching issues than our pitching. And scoring runs when you are down 10-2 is good but teams don't pitch the same way up 8 runs that they do in a tight game.

I don't think that is at all likely now, we will be lucky to be host and national seed is out of the question. Only way is we get on some incredible tear and that doesn't look to happen. this team appears to be digressing

May be right now. We used to be but honestly we suck in most all places right now. Starting pitching has been good but that about it.
