Biggest problem this board has is that I'm the only one of the original 6 owners that still posts here at least regularly. There has been no investment in the board and none of the upgrades needed to modernize. No forethought about the future or how to improve the experience.

Lack of time for the most part. They are all married business tycoons some with younger kids like me in HS or younger. The board was mainly a hobby for them and we all saw the need to break away from Sixpack, so the creation. Sixpack has always been run more like a business- this was always a hobby. I always wanted it to be more of a business with growth- but the other guys had their main jobs that required alot of them.

Hadad said State 1878 tried to hire him too but he turned it down, which makes me like him even more. T&L is an awesome podcast and he wouldn't get to be as honest and transparent if he was essentially working for the university.

I agree. I really respect Brian for staying on and keeping T&L rolling. Before he was backed by SuperTalk I do not know if he would have made that decision.

Depends on what you want this board to become - but feel like there's plenty of tech savvy people between folks already registered and in the computer engineering department that you could recruit someone to do some tuneup as a hobby.

Slickdawg is an IT guy and OG Elitedawg. Slickdawg was doing internet videos 20 years ago. His time is limited now because he has become so important. So he turned alot of power over to ScoobaDawg for the IT part and such. Scooba has a life and is busy also. Nobody else in the circle of trust is IT. After our feud years ago- I have no moderator anything now. I post here out of loyalty and because I dont want to pay to join Steve's board. I could create a fake email and name to post on Sixpack- but when I announced I was leaving- I meant it. No hard feelings with Stephen- he was one of the large group of people to check on me when I almost died.

I just dont want to see this thing die. But it does need an enema to quote Jack Nicholson Riddler.

I wonder what his role would have been? He and Robbie doing the same thing? That seems a little redundant to have two guys basically conducting interviews.
