There will be 20,000 people at States Super Regional
If we can fit them inside.
If there is any temporary solution, hopefully our ath dept can figure it out and make it happen.

IF we can survive McPherson's injury and get a national seed and host you may be right. The only thing stopping it may be the fire marshal.

They need to put up temporary bleachers for regional and super if/when we host. It will be epic baseball like no other.

Temp bleachers
Carnival type atmosphere for people to enjoy outside between games with some food trucks and a band outside
Big temp screen outside for those that cant get in to watch inside the stadium
Could draw 30K
Instead of Super Bulldog Weekend- Super Bulldog Regional
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

There is no spot for temp bleachers that could pass safety inspection. As for outside stuff we are doing all of that now, bands, food trucks etc. it could be expanded some but would impact parking greatly. We could possibly push 18,000 inside with a nice size overflow to push 20,000.

They had all of this this past weekend but, it was within a ticketed area set up outside of the outfield. It was kind of set up like the banana ball wall of vendors they forced you to walk through to get into the stadium last summer except this time you weren't forced through it. You just needed a ticket to access it.

Open the Hump and turn it into an additional space with the game on the jumbotrons

This reminds me. I'm old enough to remember going to watch a live closed circuit telecast of an away Miami game (we won) in the Ballard era from a screen that was set up in a large room in the old student union. They did this because the game wasn't televised live but I believe ESPN was showing it later on tape delay. I believe I was in the 8th grade and I got my dad to drive me up (he was a M club member... football late 50s ripped his knee up in a freshman squad practice but was allowed to keep his scholarship as a manager for the remainder of college). Back then freshmen weren't allowed to play in the regular games. My great uncle also played for Georgia Tech under THE John Heisman and was inducted into the GaTech Hall of Fame. I didn't get any of their athletic genes, lol, but I did end up being a 'band jock' in the Famous Maroon Band during the Felker era. The games were mostly atrocious but the upside was people paid a lot of attention to the band which was about 400 strong in those days (due to out of state tuition waivers).

As it currently stands fire code is 22,000. I don?t know where in the hell you?d put them but that?s the number. The outfield carnival area is going to be there the rest of the year and I wouldn?t be surprised if they did something outside of the left field home bullpen soon. We?re going to have monster crowds every weekend going forward

Does anyone remember you used to go to the grass area between the dude and palmerio center? I watched a game in that spot one time.
You could easily put a set of golf course style temp bleachers in right by the end of the back lounges. Bet you could get 500 there.
Could possibly put another set in the ring of honor. Would take away from the looks of the stadium but could seat another 200.
Could also put a section above the berms with a walkway through them. Don?t like this idea due to that area already being a bottle neck but this could easily get you another 100 seats each side.
This would get you roughly 1000 additional seats.
