Should we pull for the underdog Rebs?

Absolutely tearing it up in the SEC tournament. Alabama can?t sink a needed three and om just throws it up there with the shot clock dwindling and sink the three.

What is football or basketball? I’ve never heard of those sports. We just put our money into a club sport that gets no national attention or recognition that we still aren’t that great at and only have 1 NC while a good number of SEC teams have more but at least ole Miss made a final 4 in football last year a sweet 16 in basketball and now semis of SEC tournament while we only care about the club sport. We are Miss State

The very mention of pulling for OM (unless it helps MSU in a weird way) should be automatic file 13.

They are the luckiest school in history.

They can win big games in every sport. We can't.

That’s because they have a really good coach who always excels in March even when they have a talent deficiency. We have only ever had one of those coaches in basketball and that was Richard Williams.

We shouldn't be talking about OM. We should be revisiting folks saying Kentucky would be top three in the end when we got our ass handed to us at Rupp.

Sumbitches just drove the court to tie Arkansas with a layup with one second to go. OT.

I mean Richard got one team hot in 1996 and got extremely lucky that Princeton beat UCLA. You could, I guess, argue 94 because we did actually beat the 12(we didn't in 91) and then beat Utah to get to the second weekend. But it's again kind of one of those Mississippi State fallacies where we act better in basketball than we actually are. Richard made the tournament 3 times in 12 years. Richard also didn't have a talent deficiency any of the years he made the tournament. You could argue the coach that made the tournament with the biggest deficiency was Jans in Yr 1.

Williams took us to a sweet 16 and a final 4. No coach has ever done that here. He is in a different category than any other coach we have had. It’s great to make the tournament but I would rather have a coach like Williams or Beard who doesn’t make it every year but when they do they maximize the talent they have and win in March.
