    Can we just assume the lead off guy is going to be an out and skip to the #2 hitter? And if so, we need to move Reese to the 3 hole. This is going to be a more disappointing loss than UCLA because Och sucks as their late innings pitcher and State couldn?t hit the guy!

    Trying not to overreact...but I do wonder if keeping Parker will be a regret for us. So far I haven't loved a lot of our pitching choices, outside of the starters. Am I crazy?

    It is pretty simple the one leg down doesn’t work for a sweeping or downward motion pitch. Fastball or a cutter that method works well. However if you call those wipeout pitches to Maddox, you should not rely on that type of stance for receiving. The catcher calls the pitch he KNOWS where and how it supposed to be located. I have a lot of grace for players but that second one should have been caught especially after the hitter prior.
