If the podcast people are to be believed this year Jans chose to bring players who were defense type players. He thought last years team was not good enough on defense and this was him going to what he was comfortable with?.his type of team.

Totally opposite of what you should do. You get great offensive guys and make them play defense.

The opposite will not work.

Offenses are too good. You are lucky to slow them down some nights. You have to have scorers?and not 1.5 of them.

I am not for firing Jans. I am a fan and think he is good but he needs to do a 180 on his strategy when portal opens.

Well, if the new players brought in were actually good defenders then it would have been a reasonable plan. Issue is that most of them are below average on BOTH ends of the court.
