Finally a good week of baseball

I have a hard time watching games vs garbage teams. We finally get a better barometer of where we are.

This week is going to be a great barometer for where we are. AZ State is off to a 7-0 start and we obviously know what UCLA brings to the park. Realistically, 4-1 would be a great week. You'd love 5-0, but that will be tough to accomplish. We're taking a few steps up in competition and some of our guys(Teel, Woodson, and Nunnalee) haven't looked great against the bad teams.

I recall back in ‘21 when we played a similar (or the same?) tourney. Every team in that tourney with us that season ended up as a national seed in June. I think it was Texas, TCU and TexTech. We’ll get a real good look this weekend. Any idea on how to watch? We gotta buy it, or is there a link?

Always good to start out 8-0.

    My concerns to this point:
    1. Sunday starting pitching. I expect Duke to get the nod this week.
    2. Base running. Too many guys getting thrown out. Most of them seem like they get a bad jump on balls in the dirt. Not sure who?s coaching that but it needs to get better
    3. Short stop defense.
    4. Hitting. This is me kind of being nit picky. The offense has gotten the job done but hasn?t quite lived up to the hype yet of the pre season.

It will be FloCollege. I'd assume there's a free link to watch it. You just have to make sure to cancel it after the game Sunday.

Oak was asked about this in his postgame presser yesterday. His response certainly didn't seem like he's ready make that move yet.

The game versus Arizona State in pretty legit.

ASU ace is the #44 draft prospect. A 6-5 230 LHP.

They are playing 5 SEC games this week.

Oklahoma, Oklahoma, MSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M

Probably just wanted to review film and talk to Parker about it first.

I think it's pretty obvious that Stone will be starting this weekend.

I think they want to look at matchups. They may want to start Stone on Saturday and hold Valincius for UCLA. So it may not be that we don't know who we're starting, but a little gamesmanship trying to make UCLA prepare for multiple pitchers

Not fully sure who it will be, but I just don't see it being Foster at this point.
