Big Game Today Against RPI 47 Alcorn State

For those of you keeping up with RPI we might make a move this week with Delaware who is RPI 20.

It's all artificial inflation at this point but I think it's funny that right now Alcorn out of the SWAC has a top 50 RPI after we have fans that complain about playing them because it hurts our RPI.

Grambling is RPI 40 right now by the way. Jackson State is RPI 120.

And yes, I know this will all flip in about two weeks.

Pitzer is starting so that is a new face right there. I am expecting Logar, Miller, Rhodes, and Beliveau to make their debuts if I had to guess.

Hope they let him go at least 3. Good job yesterday of letting guys get some extended work. You dont grow any throwing 12-15 pitches. Need that 35-40 point to really see what they can do consistently

Pitzer's role going forward is going to be interesting to me. He was pitching out of the bullpen in the Cape. But I think he can start. Might be our midweek starter but we'll see.

Now we get RPI #22 Delaware who is 1-3. Clearly a huge series against a dominant team

If we can steal just one from them this weekend, that'll be a Q1 win that should keep us on track to slide into the tournament!
