Hey I like the most hideious unis we ever had. Anyone remember Gold Helmets. I also remember winning a EB wearing them.

The gold helmets that year was cool but you can't do it very often. It ain't special if you do it all the time. Maroon and white 80%.

Our players, staff, and Jans himself likes the black uniforms better on the road. I wish we'd lean more into the black uniforms tbh. I barely have any maroon or white State stuff anymore. It's almost all black now. I prefer the black with white lettering and maroon trim.

i dislike the black uni's as a primary uni. you would think from a marketing standpoint having our school be recognizable would be something we would want. wearing black just like everybody else doesn't seem to accomplish that IMO.

wear it on occasion. i do however like the gray unis we wear in basketball. however, i absolutely despise, in any sport, wearing the incorrect uniform as far as being home or away. in baseball...white or maroon at home. gray or maroon on road. football...maroon at home, white on the road. basketball...white/occasionally gray at home, maroon on the road.

It seems like the basketball team wears Black every game. Those black unis sucks just as bad as their play on the court.

MSU is maroon and white. It ain't black. Lately, some of our football and basketball losses have been when players wore black. And that has left a double bad taste. Loosing is one thing, but loosing when players are wearing black is something else. To me black unis is associated with loosing. It looks like people would recognize the majority of opinions around here. And years and years of history.

Having our cheerleaders do the Maroon-White cheer during the Mayo Bowl (or any other game in any sport where we are dressed in black) was a very bad look, especially in a nationally televised game. Maroon and white are our school colors with a history behind them. They should be our primary colors again. I am ok with black, gray, and some gold mixed in for special occasions. Our well-paid "athletic employees" should wear our school colors and, if only here for a year or so, hopefully take some pride in them.
