We didn't have that money the whole time. It was not until we got the word he was going to enter the draft and we reached out that we raised that money specifically for him.

We had Sneh as a backup option, but then James left at the last second and changed those plans. Still working on others, they are not sitting on their hands.

Kamauryn Morgan Seems to be the only person left in the portal that would immediately improve us

What is concerning is that it appears we had James valued over Sneh.

That is not apparent to me. One could just as easily say that James was scared of the competition that Sneh was bringing and ran scared.
That's what it looks like when you just pull $hit out of your head without any facts. Neither of us knows a dang thing.

It will speak volumes to either Loadholt and or James attitude if he plays major minutes at Bama.

Except James entered the portal and told us he was leaving before we got sneh. In fact, we had the chance to get Sneh a week earlier and told him no. But once James decided to leave, we circled back to Sneh. As SVS said on the previous page, the reason we took Sneh was because James left.

Same with Work, Owens, and Lewis.

Work and Lewis were forced to play as true or redshirt freshmen and sophomores, and often out of position. I don't blame either for their struggles against SEC competition under these circumstances. I have not been impressed with Loadholt at Colorado or State to date. Don't forget these guys also had Kennedy as OL coach, who had been fired by Arkansas the year before. In 2026, time will tell very quickly whether improvements have been made in our OL through recruiting/the portal, and development.

People tend to forget our OL wasn't bad all season. It is easy to think it was awful all season, but go back and watch the Texas game against a top 3 defense in the SEC and tell me it didn't perform?
Ran for over 200 against Tenn, put up over 450 total yards against a solid Florida defense, Shapen threw for 380 against Texas, and scored 38 against Upig.
After the UGA and Mizzou games, the offense went to shit. Gave up 8 sacks to UGA/Mizzou along with fairly constant pressure.
It is easy to say that the guys we lost were all terrible. The last few games they played weren't great - the Wake one especially, but the fact that Mizzou, UGA and the bears were able to put pressure on the QB is most likely due to the fact that their DLs were three of the better in the conference by the time we played them.

Our bottom of the SEC defense screwed us more than the OL did but that's what everyone wants to fixate on as "The Problem".

Well when your QB gets injured and blown up several times a game and you have a guy whose game is going to take more hits projected to be the starter next year then you kinda want to see him afforded some level of improved protection. Especially considering he has started two games and ended both games limping off.

And some of that is holding the ball too long and making freshman mistakes.
I know it goes against the main part of your Lebby hate but a better defense last season and we aren't having half of these conversations.

Mike Bloomgren, one of the top offensive line coaches is now available, since he lost his job with the Browns when they hired Todd Monken. He will not be available long!
