My boomer neighbors thought I was crazy when I told them that internet and sports talk radio rumors said that we were willing to offer a LT 4 Million.

And this is why I poo poo on us ever winning anything decent again. Now that its about money- we're done. Kang Jackie thru Mullen was our Golden Age of football.

Good! State Baseball fans putting ?their? money where it can be most effective. State would have to spend $25 million on football just to be 6-6 overall and 3-6 at best in the SEC! This portal class just proved that spending $20- $25 mil still cannot get good players to 1) come play in Starkville, or 2) come play for Lebby!
Spending the kind of money on basketball State is spending is absolutely stupid! Just like football, spend $12 million on 13 players still only gets state a bottom 6 finish in the SEC.

That guy wasn't ever coming here. Just like AJ wasn't ever coming here. If you want to get to the NFL and you are a Lineman you go to LSU. Leb doesn't have a track record of getting kids to the NFL.

Correct, the likelihood of him coming was extremely slim. We took our shot more we move on.

Mr pessimistic is back. I know you have a losing record coaching and don't produce much D1 talent from your schools. If so you'd ruin them.

Hope it will carry all the other $ports when we drop to the Sunbelt if we don't straighten out football, and will the Dude be full to watch non-SEC or us not being in a "Super" conference in a coming restructuring? Heck, I guess we can move baseball to DWS and play football in The Dude to make up for the revenue shortfall if that happens.***
I want to win in all our sports, but how many "Washington Generals" will be needed in a football realignment if we don't get competitive, and how many season tickets will it continue to sell? East side is already in the other team's colors, and they still seem to wear them, not black and white, unless we are Penn State's OOC game sometime in the future.

ohhhhhhh we gonna get personal today. Yep we had a bad season. 2 ACL's and a broken leg on offense makes it tough. 3rd string QB made 3 starts for us and 5 one score losses eats at you. Gave up 37 ppg on D and only had one SEC signee this year who was unfortunately a kicker. Spring practice is just around the corner tho and back to work we go. Appreciate you keeping up with me. Love my fans
