OT - Can mods dial back the VPN restrictions?
hey guys, any chance we can roll back some of the new VPN restrictions you guys turned on a month or so back? I use Nord VPN and am not able to access the site at all anymore when my VPN is on which is use 100% of the time I'm online. Would be a huge help if we could get it back where we can use it with VPN on. Thanks!

What is the purpose of the restriction?

There was an ad spam bot that was posting all over anything using a bunch of VPNs iirc.

Yeah which I understand but the much better method would be just implementing a CAPTCHA, a cloudfare bot mgmt plug in, site security questions, etc.

You could always move away from a repressive state that doesn't allow the viewing of porn on your laptop. Then you wouldn't need the VPN.

I'm a Catholic who does not indulge in that particular vice. My needs are more based around personal privacy desires.

Scoob doesn't collect money from us to run this site. I'd reach out to him if you've got the time and expertise to help set that up if it is a free to set up thing.

Not necessarily expertise but would be more than happy to help where I can. I see ads on this site so Scooba should absolutely be collecting something from that (as he should)

Guys,
It's not about spam this time.
The site was being attacked in a manner which we needed to block a great portion of the world's ip's in order to keep the site up.
This will be fixed whenever we have a chance to radically update the site.
