That is a fireable game if you ask me. Getting paid way too much to not only have assembled this talent level, but to have them quit on you too. Jans is done.

The fanbase apathy is growing exponentially. Not many care if Jans stays or not.
Baseball may deliver the goods. But folks aren't too hyped about it because we've been bludgeoned with our own expectations in all sports too many times.

We don't play defense, we don't score particularly well, and we don't shoot the 3 well.
We scored more than 72 points twice in conference play and we gave up 98 and 92 points in those games.
We did not do enough to build a team around Hubbard and we have lost our calling card under Jans which is defense. May be time for a reset because this stretch has been awful.

No idea where he ranks this season, but he was 8th in the sec last season. Seems to be in line with production up until this season

He ranks as the 6th highest paid. Not far behind Nate Oats.

Losing is one thing.. but we have been getting blown out by teams!! This is just a bad team with bad coaching and it all starts with Jans. Im glad we've made the tournament 3 times under him but are we supposed to just be satisfied with that? Heck we haven't advanced past the 1st round in any of those 3 appearances. Jans wont get fired but changes need to be made!!

Okay. So he needs to fire his entire staff and hire the 3 best Mississippi HS basketball coaches and have them bring in their very best players with them. Then 4 years later hire the 3 best HS coaches and have them bring in their very best players. Maybe that method will work better than what he is doing now. 😳😳

Just watch the SEC show. during the Vandy game highlights the talking heads stated the obvious. Our 3 guards are smurfs and can't defend shiT.

I mean, if a coach strategizes to play a three-guard five, it might help to roster three SEC caliber guards. *****

It was a big miss on portal hauls this year but in no way is a 3-peat tournament coach on the hot seat. It isnt even warm, yalls solution to just fire everyone is the reason nothing builds.

A 3 peat one and done tourney guy that shits the portal after shitting the bed with Murphey, Nwoko, and Kugel. His ass should be pretty damn warm, plus the actual attendance should also be a signal to anybody with a pulse! The days of giving coaches 3 plus years should be based off of performance bc now you don?t have to cheat to get players to campus. Your track record plus NIL money should be enough to get the right players to your program. No business not making the tourney this year. Keeping Jones for 4 years should be enough to put his ass in the hot seat!

Building business in basketball is over. Good coaches are out there. Besides 1 or 2 key roster guys maybe. You go find 7-8 guys every year in free agency. You?re looking at this the old school way.

I think you'll see more stinkers like this season by Jans around the country with the new format. When guys that are much better than Jans like Scott drew and beard have these bad seasons, you know it's a new era
