I just wish the NFL would come up with Iron Man suits where you could blow someone up without getting CTE or a spinal cord injury.

Josh Morgan would have never finished a game. 12 games and a bowl game? 13 targeting penalties

It would have been more than that, they would have given him 2 targeting penalties on some of his hits. They were vicious.

Josh played in 34 career games at Mississippi State. With the current targeting rules, I'd place a large wager that he would've been ejected from 30 of those games.

Only one he could get. Same with arnett and some of these assts. lebby is soft on the players and not real relatable with coaches or fans. It just is what it is

2026 will be his last year. He can?t avoid a 2-6 start with that schedule, no matter how much better the defense is. So an improved team with the same results marks the HC as the problem not the players. I just hope our clowns in the admin don?t think Arnept at interim again is the way to go.

Lebby will be your coach next year. He will be your coach in 2027. Might as well accept that.

Yes, don't you know, we are all senior citizens with nothing better to do than post on a message board.

Yeah, I'm mid thirties and figured I was one of the youngest ones. This is a great community though. I enjoy it even when I'm just lurking. Learn a lot of State history from it. Most of it isn't good, honestly. Like who Larry Templeton was for instance. Ha.

Bullshit. We are literally 13th in the country in portal rankings. I guess Mississippi is 15th because thats all they could get? Tenn is 19th because thats all they could get?

To sum up where we are on this thing:
Robbie Faulk seems pretty bearish on our chances to land Seaton.
Steve Robertson seems a little bullish but definitely more positive than Faulk.
Everyone else? Absolutely no clue. Seaton and his camp have played this one quite close to the vest. LSU had a lot of momentum at the start of the week and, depending on who you listen to, actually got a verbal commitment from Seaton. As of today, it seems that LSU has faded mightily in their pursuit. Miami, an early contender, has never really felt in it outside of being mentioned as a possible landing spot early and a Michael Irvin tweet. Oregon has some juice right now, but he never visited. Then there’s us, he did visit and we reportedly have the highest offer.
I believe we will know something within the next 24 hours. If I had to handicap it right now:
Oregon-11/1
State-15/1
LSU-20/1
Miami-75/1

The catch is simply that Oregon gave Seaton's uncle more cash directly. As in more than LSU gave him.......

Sorry:
Oregon-2/1
State-3/1
LSU-5/1
Miami-whatever is left.
I wasn’t trying to add up to 100%. Just what a sportsbook would probably give the odds

Yea I know I'm just joking around cause I'm like if you give me those odds i'm putting $1,000 on each and profiting off of you heavily lmao. I'd even have enough to sprinkle around to a secret last minute contender.

As they should. Us and Miami have played the Adidas card. Adidas and Nike are both going to be fighting for his services when he's a pro so just getting an early start.
