They just completed an undefeated season capped with a NC. Matching (or doubling) their all-time # of post season wins in the process.
INDIANA!!!
So....are you saying, its the money, stars, or coaching?

I hope that doesn't happen, but if it does, it would be really hard to downgrade.
You think we suck at recruiting players? Wait until next years coaching cycle comes if we hit the market. Mullen 2.0 ceiling unless we get a lot more serious

Its the age and experience with good coaching.
He would not have dont that with a younger roster.

I'm saying they did not outrecruit Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St, etc over the same players. Those guys didnt choose Indy over Ohio State. They signed a bunch of grown ass men and developed players extremely well. Remember guys posting in here they were 72nd in talent level according to 247???? Ohio St and Indiana havent been recruiting the same players

Mullen 2.0 is a pipe dream here. I would forgive every sin and every game he half assed if he came back

If Lebby can?t make it past October 2026, it will show he should have been fired after the mayonnaise bowl. State is going to have to pay a sitting HC $9 mil to come here. No more cheap hiring coordinators for $4 mil. That strategy will no longer work for a bottom feeder program. Cignetti made $9 mil this year, only his second at a P4 program. Is State a P4 program? Let?s see it!

Mullen 2.0 would be a pretty big upgrade. Does anyone seriously think Mullen would be 2-17 against the P4 if we'd hired him instead of Lebby?

If that's all true, then there is hope for all of the "have nots" in the SEC and Big 10.

Cignetti actually made about $11MM total plus the bonuses are going to get him to 14MM this year
You also have to add in people that will actually take our job. Willie Fritz turned us down to go to Houston. Too many of our fans think people drool for our job. I can assure you they do not- that is why we hire coordinators so often.

If State couldn?t hire a G6 sitting head coach or an FCS successful head coach for $8-$9 mil, then the program needs shuttering, the stadium bulldozed and turned into a 6 level parking garage! Good grief! Indiana was the losingest program in college football history and are now NC. State?s program, though not great over the entire history, is no where close to that bad! Shut it down if you truly believe what you just typed! No need in wasting any more money on football if Felker, Croom, Morehead and Lebby are the best State can do!

Cignetti made $4 MIL his first year at Indiana.
