Have you ever watched cricket? I tried watching it a few times. It's pretty damn boring. But maybe it's because I don't understand it.
I love watching baseball. I know it's boring to the masses, but I really love it. It's probably from playing it my whole life and now having kids playing. But I agree to most it is boring to watch.

I understand it. I know many people that grew up playing but can't sit down and watch a whole game. Maybe it's because Im lazy and it gives me an excuse to sit down and not do anything for a few hours.

Lol you aren't alone, we have a great baseball fan base, one of the best if not the best in the country

I love watching MSU baseball! The good, the bad, and at times ugly, bc at the end of the day we are always competitive even when we?re not good. You cant say that in the other 2 sports. It?s because our baseball program is a blue blood program due to our history.

I know I'm in the minority but I find basketball the toughest of the 3 major sports to watch. The reason being that if the game is even reasonably competitive, because of the scoring runs, the only part of the game that means anything is the last 5 minutes. So normally, I just check the score into the 2nd half and watch the last 5 to 10 minutes if its a competitive game. The rest of the game isn't really worth my time. At least with football and baseball, scores throughout the earlier parts of game seem to mean more.

The good thing about baseball is you can either be really into it- there are a lot of different layers of things going on each pitch and each situation and you can really get deep into strategy with it. But you can also just sit around and drink a beer and just be outside and not really pay much attention to it and still enjoy being there and the atmosphere.

I see you have blocked out Cohen's first two seasons when we had to pitch outfielders at times.**

I grew up that way with baseball. I loved playing it. But from the first of March thru the first of October, at 7:05 or 7:35, we had Ernie, Skip and Pete (and later Skip, Pete, & Don Sutton) - either on WSB radio or TBS exclusively in my house. And it was mostly background while we were doing something else. Especially during summer. We had a pool and spent all our evenings outside. I miss Skip and Pete
