This is where I'll say Mike Leach's book makes a great point about assuming D1 Coaches being smart just because they're hired to a higher level than guys at lower levels. It's an assumption that Lebby is smart enough to make an informed decision here. But at the end of the day it is an assumption.

But there are different types of smart. Would I want Coach O to do my taxes? Hayyyyyyyle no. Would I love for him to coach DL???? absolutely. You can tell alot on the head coaches just listening to them speak. How they articulate when answering questions. Kirby Smart has a high football IQ but he isnt going to be reading things like Reagan's Secret War

Coaches like that money and prestige of being HC. They just arent going to keep an albatross around.

Show me where I said 100k was big money for NIL. I said 100k was said to be paid for a visit. There is a difference between a paid visit and a paid NIL deal, obviously. You're a coach so that means you have probably teached in some capacity. Hopefully it wasn't in reading comprehension or those kids really got set up for failure. Hilarious.

I'm angry because I want a REAL reason to be hopeful. KT looks promising but it means nothing without experienced OL. This would be the first real thing that we did this offseason that gives me hope. The defense is a question mark because Arnett's D worked when we had a ball control offense. How it meshes with a quick strike offense remains to be seen (aka will we wilt in 2nd halves).

I'm an optimist but I don't see how anyone can sunshine pump so gleefully right now. If we land Seaton then I'm back aboard. But I won't be as toxic as that dude.

If we strike out on Seaton or getting a LT with any experience, I'm not sure how we can go into this year excited. I feel like I'm gonna drive 4 hours to Minneapolis and then be extremely ****ing frustrated.

Who cares about pointing the finger at folks. It falls on Lebby. And if Lebby goes then the others need to go too. Cannot squander the anger spending from the fanbase rn.

I think people thought I was giving the home city bias because we are both from Pittsburgh, but I will say I think Lebby has the potential to be a good coach if he gets the right players. Definitely want to see how we do defensively with Arnett and some more talent. We got to give this staff and team another year to see the improvement.

We always miss the point. Boosters are way more responsible for what went down and is going down now than anyone else. They put all those people in place.
