And I'm sure we payed every one of them. I could understand signing 3 + Womack. Seems like we have a bunch of money tied up in that position.

Well our safeties sucked and we had no returners in the room. Also, Arnett's defense requires more safeties than your average D because you have 5 DBs on the field. That's an extra DB every snap.

And here lies the problem, fan boy media treated like a proper source. Someday y'all gonna figure this game out, this clowns only real info just got fired. They are just as in the dark as the rest about this football team and staff, anything that come out of his suck is just conjecture. Saying we are better at QB is pure speculation that KT is going to grow by leaps and bounds during the off season. Did you watch the bowl game? I saw zero improvement. I was so excited about watching that game. I believed the hype. I thought he was going to show out. What it showed was that Lebby did the right thing playing Shapen all year.
We have to hope that KT turns it on this off season or the new guy takes over the position.

RB is worse without Booth. We havent replaced his burst.

WR is worse. I like Johnson but Thompson had game breaking speed. Still havent upgraded the other side.

Incoming freshman, Cooper Crosby has got that burst. He was impressive in the 7A championship for Gulfport. I know there is a large gap between highschool and the SEC but if he can pickup the offense and pass block he could become a great back. His talent was quiet noticeable on the field.

Agreed - I really like him. Got to see him play several times down here and didn't know why more schools weren't going after him.

ETA - I don't think he is a replacement for Booth. Booth was pretty damn special when he had his head screwed on straight. Our offense without him was clearly hobbled. I'd love to pick up a playmaker at RB, but we have holes on the line to fill.

Shapen left the team after losing the starting position in the final game. Not sure about Booth.

Booth opted out of the bowl game. Shapen and the staff made a mutual decision that he was done after the Egg Bowl. He wasn't going to get any starter reps and we had Luke to back up Kamario

Prior to reverse share, it was paid monthly. I have no reason to think it's any different. Some guys get some up front money. But not a huge chunk
