We gonna have 65 DBs and Safeties on team and 20 other guys. I feel like we overcompensate on the wrong positions sometimes. Give me more linemen!!!

How big of a diva does he have to be to leave Ole Miss? That's like Paris Hilton level.
He probably left because he doesn't fit in there.

Could be. That why I'm asking.

not complaining but we take a lotttt of transfer guys from Oklahoma. I hope that isn't something that screws us next year and in the future when Lebby's relationships with those guys run out.

Ga Tech probably offered more. I heard he didn't have the offers he thought he would and OM got him cheaper than what he was being offered to us. I also could see him just hitting the road N and going to play for Huff.

We're two starting OLs, and more than likely just one, and a NT away from me being really bullish on 2026, and that's scary.

Yes. And not just next year, either, since most of these guys have multiple years left. Obv have to hold on to em, but if KT makes big strides and we win a bunch of games, it'll be cooking with gas.

I think that's the biggest thing. Kamario has to show he can win games and WE have to show we can win games. The bowl game didn't really do anything to inspire a bunch of confidence, I don't think it killed much either though. Kamario is exactly where a lot of us thought he was. Insanely athletic, a cannon for an arm, struggles with consistency, and sometimes doesn't make the right read.
I'm excited to see his progression with an offseason as QB1. If he progresses like I expect him to, he will, by himself, lead us to 2-3 extra wins next year.

Definitely. Which is also why, all do respect to my bud CD, but his idea of "tanking" would be an absolute disaster. You have to be competitive "enough" to recruit enough foundation guys. Guys like KT and all the other dudes we paid to retain. Yes, we've sucked, but it is getting better. You simply have to find a way to win games and look alive. Deciding to win only 4 or 5 games over a 3-4 period would absolutely bottom us out, and by the time that was over, NIL inflation would make our stockpile look like pittance.

Hard to be bullish after seeing that bowl game + staff management.

I put LESS THAN ZERO stock into that bowl game. I didn't even want us to play it. There was nothing to gain and everything to lose, and we almost saw the everything portion come true.

You have to look at it like this:
Lebby Year 1-We had some P4 pieces but overall had a mid level G5 roster trying to compete in the P4.
Lebby Year 2-We had a P4 roster, albeit a lower level P4 roster, and punched above our weight in damn year every game.
Lebby Year 3-We have to take that next step and we're about 3-4 pieces from doing that.
