Dent appears to be more of the same. Young, unproven player who had a good ranking out of high school. So we have to develop him and then try to keep him. Not a winning formula.
I dont know much about Chester but he seems to be a good add on the interior.

Chester has starting experience and was highly rated out of HS. That's a good pickup.
I'm meh on Dent. Don't really expect much.
-
Chester started 13 games in 2024.
He started only 1 in 2025 and played in 7.
What happened?

From LSU:
Chester has played just about every position along offensive line in his time with LSU. He earned Freshman All-SEC honors last year while starting all 13 games for the Tigers and this year he played center and left tackle as LSU’s first man off the bench.
It appears that he played 4 and took a redshirt. The next year he was the utility guy. He played every where on the OL. This year as a RS So, he played in 7. I assume it's due to them firing the coach and the new guy went with other players

Yes!!!

Just so everyone knows but Isiah Dent's last name was Autry when he was in high school at Itawamba AHS. 3 or 4 star OL that signed with Oklahoma outta high school.
"The QB and the receiver weren't on the same page there, but hey its only week eleven". (Jack Cristil)
-
Not to be a wet blanket or anything, but I witnessed Will Echoles (Houston) make Isiah Autry look silly for 4 quarters during a HS playoff game. Hope Autry has grown up some.
-
Do we even have an SEC level Left Tackle currently on the team?
-
We just had a guy leave for Delta ****ing State. These are both upgrades

Sucks we don?t have Reese one more year. Really need a proven guy at one of the OT spots and let all these other dudes battle it out for the other one.
