Chandler Prater was back in action tonight after missing the last game. She played very well off the bench, had 15 points, 0 turnovers....6-8 field goal percent, 3-4 from 3 point.

Saniyah King came in and played really well. She's starting to come on, looks the part of a true point.

Coach Yo has the better team right now, better basketball program. She came in at Ole Miss and quickly got on a really good understanding of how to put that program in.posiition to consistently compete with the top teams in the SEC and hasn't looked back. Also, she's really good at navigating the transfer portal as well as other recruiting landscapes, resources. She and her staff appear really good at evaluating their needs and potential talent. You can easily tell that the players and team are well coached. They focus heavily on defensive quickness on the perimeter, turning teams over at a high clip but at the same time maintaining the needed strengths in the other areas on the court. When she came in at Ole Miss...Miss. State had the better women's basketball program, Miss. State was the better job. But, they quickly caught up then surpassed Miss. State, putting them in the rear view mirror and haven't looked back since.

Not just Ole Miss but since Vanderbilt has started a hard move in the SEC, look at Kentucky, Alabama. Still, if Coach Purcell can keep his players and add the right pieces, make the right adjustments moving forward they can definitely crash the SEC party. Also, can't give this season up, and even though Miss. State has gotten their wakeup call, roughed some over the last 3 games, they have shown flashes as well. Lots of basketball left to be played and Purcell said that they're gonna fight...so we shall see.
