Pretty much in line with pre-season rankings and projections. Some young talent on this team, but hard to build cohesion when you have to pretty much totally replenish the roster every year.

Shame we should have at least 1 natty in WBB. Now we may never sniff another final 4.

Financially, if it means we never sniff one in WBB but win another in Baseball I?ll be ecstatic!

Lmao. No one really cares about either sport. I would say at a national level women’s college basketball has more of a following than college baseball. I’ve met very few people outside the state of Mississippi that follow any college baseball

Who cares? Our fans like it, and that's good enough for me.

Another good game for Kharyssa Richardson. Madison Francis as well. Gotta give this team credit in that they did put up a good fight in this game. They basically got behind a good bit in that first quarter and could never quite make up the difference. Team made a good comeback run in the second half but attempt ended as they started going cold.

The team actually played solid. We need more from Favour and more production in the paint. Madison looked really well though

While we have some good young talent, it was pretty evident in the OOC games that we're not there yet. Some folks just got caught up in the wins without seeing a little beyond that.

Coach Purcell appeared kinda frustrated in that he knew/knows they could have won this game but at the same time had the attitude keep getting better and move on to the next game. Nwaedozi appears to have hit a wall starting SEC play but on the flip side Richardson has been coming on strong. Need continued strong play from Richardson.Trayanna Crisp has hit a wall as well. Mcpaul hasn't been on or anywhere near her A game but she's been atleast hanging in there scrapping. Lampley still adjusting to the SEC, she'll be fine. Saniyah King gave some good minutes, really helped Miss. State against that Tennessee press. Also, Awa Fane came in and knocked down a big shot. Last but not least it appears that Madison Francis has emerged as the best player on this team right now. Priority that Miss. State retain her for next season and beyond...not losing her like they lost Okot at the end of last season.
