State with a 19 point lead near midway through the 4th. I don't keep up a lot with women's basketball but looks like Purcell has a put together a good team this year.

We are up 64 to 45 against a much improved Auburn team. They have a new coach and are 11-3 with wins against Rutgers and Cal. This will be a good win! Go support this team.. yes we will make mistakes but goodness, this is our best team since the Vic Schaefer days

The 3 losses Auburn had were single digits losses. We won by 22! I hate to be that guy saying I told you so but.. we have a team! We will probably lose games later but I love what Purcell is doing.

Impressive to say the least. Balance scoring and holding any Sec team to 53 points and win by 22 is good!

the balanced scoring is unlike anything we have seen in quite some time, it gives us a chance almost any game

Great win as we absolutely had to have it considering the upcoming schedule. A few things to consider. This is the most points scored against Auburn, tied for holding them to their lowest output and by far the largest margin of victory. Previous gap was six points.
Very proud of how the team collected themselves during some rough times in the first half. Auburn did a good job speeding up the decision making and got us to rushing. The officiating in the first half was also terrible. However the team fought through it and were very composed as the game progressed.
Both issues that concerned me going into SEC (ballhandling and lack of size in the post) are still huge concerns. Oklahoma is going to exploit both. K Richardson came up big tonight on defense and she will have to do it again. However I do love the fire from the team and how they gathered themselves and handled business.

True. It really helped when F Nwaedozi and M Francis were both out with fouls and D McPhaul was out cramping.

There was a game a few weeks back where Francis did a 180 spin move for a layup that was unbelievable! Most guys couldn’t make that move!

Better get ready to pay Purcell, I have said this few times but he is much improved in coaching.

Destiny Mcphaul will handle the ball.. She has done it the past two seasons. By far our best contributor. Crisp and King will back fine! I like both of them

He looks like he is a good example of letting a coach take their lumps and grow and adapt and improve.
