Michigan is looking a Todd Monken, a dude MSU would not want and USM got shafted-by. That's pretty much a trash hire, wow.

Dan Mullen's agent should give them a call. They obviously don't have candidates or standards in Michigan. "Give my boy a chance, we'll sign a 1-year contract and win a Big10 or bust in 2026." Just don't pull Hevesy from his job a Homedepot. That boy needs to stock shelves and stay away from football fields.

Defensively we are going to need some guys to step up in the back end. With Mitchell not with the team and Issac and Manning not playing, you are going to have to have some guys really step up in the back end. Oddly enough, Burnside screwed himself going into the portal because he could have put some tape up in this game for teams. That more and more tells me someone has gotten into his ear and his mother?s ear and told them he could play WR somewhere next year.

We have gone from -4.5 to -2.5 on Fan Duel. It's my understanding Isaac Smith and Booth are not playing in the bowl. I assume Tony Mitchell is out as well. Has anyone heard of others?

It opened at -2.5 and is now at -3 to -3.5 on all major books except Fan Duel where it's -2.5.

Wake Forest has a nice Defense #26 in Total Defense and 39 in scoring defense. MSU is 3rd Tier in Defense.

MSU scores more offensively.

Wake got a nice win versus SMU, shut down the ponies in the second half and pulled a very unlikely last second 50-yard FG win. Brutal for SMU. Similar win vs UVA with punt return TD and two long FG for a 16-9 win

This is the kind of Portal kid I would love to get. But people are going to bid this dude up like the new Pavia or Chambliss. He will make more next season than he probably will be worth to the NFL.

I just wish two things for Dan/TheDogs......That 14 team didn’t fall apart against Bama and then get embarrassed by om when if they could have won they had a great argument for the playoffs. Still don’t understand the def cord situation the end of that year. Also DM leaving the VERY YEAR he could have really beaten some folks......oh well.....it is what it is....

That's your opinion. Not sure what Dan did to you, but he was here 9 years which is about the life of a coach at one school. Plus he's the best coach we've had in the past 70 years (except for JWS).

I can tell you what Dan did. He shopped himself every season. His wife talked trash about Starkville. When he had the #1 team in America, he wanted out. So no.. He did not give us 9 years. He gave us a half ass effort and bolted as soon as he found another job FOR THE SAME PAY we offered him.

There are no excuses for what he did when we were #1. His mind was not on finishing the season. It was on "I'm outta here".
