Francis is so athletic and high energy, she is amazing for a freshman. Lots of talent with this team.

They look really good on defense with the "run and jump" full court with their rotation. Francis being the point and watching them trap then releasing third defender into passing lane is fun to watch. Plus, players like this kind of play. Purcell has some shooters also on offense. Hey, I know we aren't in Sec play yet, but this is really good practice for a "new team", they seem to get along, having fun and gaining team chemistry.

    Team continuing to get better.

Question...Why isn't Mcphaul taking shots? Had 2 shot attempts for the whole game. These were early in the game then she pretty much shut it down but she did do well helping get others involved. Gonna need to do a much better job moving forward of balancing taking shot attempts and playmaker as needed.. Gonna need her offense in SEC play.

Freshman Nataliyah Gray came in and played well offensively. Had 5 points in limited action. (Alabama State game...5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal)
Also, Faith Wylder came in and blocked a shot. She no offensive shot attempts but showed shot blocking

Not sure what year Gray and Wylder are, maybe freshman but I thought they looked pretty good in their movement and agility.

The girls for sure are improving regardless of competition. They play hard that is a fact and encouraging for a Coach to see.
