KT has a legit chance to play in the NFL and probably will.
Yea he's much better than Chris already. And that's not knocking Chris. He played in the perfect offense for him and it worked. Relf's accuracy makes Kamario look like Tom Brady though. I still laugh at the 09 Egg Bowl TD pass to Bumphis. We all laud the play and Mullen will tell you that Relf actually overthrew his intended target, O'Neal Wilder, and Bumphis just happened to be there.

I still don't think it was the wrong decision to try and get more yards. Our 2 minute offense had moved us 43 yards in 1:17. We took our last time out to set up an out route to try and get 5-10 more and get out of bounds so we could kick with 10-15 seconds left. Running the ball would risk us having to rush out a FG unit that had already missed from a similar distance. Yes, we could have let the clock run and taken the kick - but again, we'd already missed a 40+ kick earlier. It's a low percentage kick. Ferrie was 100% in kicks between 30-39 yards this year. He was 62% from 40-49 yards. The kid has a good leg - but 5 yards in he is money.
Unfortunately, it didn't work. I'd have made the same call.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Well, I watched the play live and a couple of times afterward. We never had a third receiver step forward this year. The out pattern that you refer to was a slant run by a freshman WR who, at the time, had one catch in the year. Then, our 6'2"(?) sixth-year senior quarterback threw the ball directly to a 6'5" 320 lb NT, whom the quarterback said, after the game, that he didn't see drop back into coverage.
My entire household asked incredulously, Why did we not run the ball to a spot that allowed Ferry, our MSU record holder with a 55-yard field goal, to give it a try for the win. I do not know a single person in my circle of MSU fans in northeast Mississippi who wasn't shocked that we attempted a pass.
Maybe we miss the kick, but at least try for the victory.

My one complaint with Lebby is no QB sneak in the playbook. Especially with KT. Easy half yard every time.

The analytics backed that up as well. Getting the FGA inside 40 yards increased win probability from 85% to 98%.

That play happened right in front of the section that I sit in. I could have walked a straight line and I would have run into Bumphis if time stood still. When that play happened I honestly thought Relf just chunked it up in the air and thankfully Bumphis was there. I had no idea he was trying to throw to Wilder! LOL.

It's funny how analytics disagrees with our fans every. single. time.

You're welcome, Craw Daddy.

I dam sure hope we have a much better OL in 26 because KT won't survive the season without being injured. Maybe the hawk stays and is a viable backup

Hadad Gets it....this is exactly what i was talking about with KT vs Shapen. I rest my case!

Hadad went on a goofball tirade two weeks ago blasting the administration and Lebby for not hiring Will Muschamp. Like Will was just hanging by the phone waiting on our call so he could say yes.

Him and Faulk are fans. You cannot think of them as members of the media. If you think of them as members of the media then you will be left scratching your head at about half of what they say. If you just say that they are fans and, like fans, they have bad takes and are completely irrational sometimes then you kind of just laugh at what they say.
That is not to say they do not have sources or I do not agree with their takes, because some of them are on the money. But just take most of what they say with a grain of salt.
The best quote I've heard about this is, "Homers tend to get emotional and emotional people make bad journalists." That's why I push back so hard on literally all of our media being legit media members. By and large, they are fans. They have some good articles and have some good takes, but they have just as many emotional takes(good and bad) that take away from them being actual media members.

They're a bunch of Brandon Walker wannabes.
The big difference is with Barstool you know they're not media in any way shape or form. They make it pretty clear that they're fans.

Last time I checked, KT does not play defense. I don't care if Michael Vick was our QB; we could not stop the other team.

Lebby's offense works better with a QB that can pass AND run. The scoreboard is the proof in the pudding. We averaged a TD more a game with Shapen starting than KT. And to say that KT's completion percentage would have been better with more reps is unlikely. He has to grow at his own pace which is honestly really rapid for where he was. He kept bringing up Matt Corral- remember when he was a freshman playing against us in the Egg Bowl? You could see he had talent but he was not good at all in that game.
Once KT is able to pass accurately his running ability will actually be even more dangerous and he will be a much more explosive player.

Oh yeah. There's that elephant in the room.

And to add to this, I sat in the stands and watched the best offensive performance at MSU since Dak for a little over 3 quarters against TX. Guess who was sitting on the sidelines.
