So I get home from work and find out
Juice Kiffin is just a prop. Not even his dog, lives with real family and is trotted out just for show. I knew they were shallow and phony but damn.

That's not true. That's the new narrative that OM is running with(that their media created), and our media has ran full steam ahead with it. I posted it in another thread because I have some background on this, I'm getting a lab from Wildrose(where Lane got Juice). I straight up asked the woman a few weeks ago what the deal was because Juice was constantly with them. She said that Juice is Lane's dog. Lane purchased him in the 2020 offseason because he needed somebody to keep him company, I think it was so he could use him to get college girls to his house but I digress. As Juice started getting bigger, Lane couldn't bring him to the office with him anymore so he had to start leaving him at home. Well......like most labs.....when you leave them home for an extended period of time, they tear shit up. Lane had to get his base boards replaced 2 or 3 times, and this was with Landry checking on him some. Eventually, Lane started sending Juice to Wildrose for obedience training, but wouldn't work on the stuff with him when he got back, because he wasn't ever there except at night. Once Landry started at OM, Juice went to Wildrose during the week and would stay at Lane's house during the weekends. Well then last year Lane's GF dropped some knives and Juice stepped on one and cut his foot open. That's when Lane made the decision that during the season, Juice would just stay at Wildrose full time during the season and he'd be with Lane in the offseason.
I have no clue of the plan now that Lane is in BR, Wildrose doesn't have any LA locations so I think there's a chance the dog ends up staying in Oxford full time. I know they have been given no directive as to what to do with Juice.

Thank you for clarifying, I was just told the story I related. You definitely have the inside on that one.

And in conclusion, Lane Kiffin is an asshole.

Lane Kiffin is a rare human being in which "asshole" is a euphemism.

So Lane bought a dog without any idea of the responsibilities that come with dog ownership.
Sounds like a typical 12 year old.

He is a grown child.

I’ve had good luck with my lab…..not the one in avatar. That one passed a few years ago. I have a 4 y/o and I leave him in house by himself while I play golf. I’m gone 4-5 hours and he just lays on sofa(covered) or on his bed. Not much of a barker either. The first year I did keep him in a crate while gone for 3 hours or so. No training from a handler other than from me. I guess I got lucky as he never tore up much other than chew toys.

He prefers Facebook.

I am not sure this isn't a worse look.
I can respect a good media game but a guy in his late 40's getting a dog to get college girls and then bails on it when it's not convenient being better does not compute. The math ain't mathing to me.

Oh it is an infinitely worse look. I was not in any way trying to absolve Lane. He 100% got the dog in his heavy drinking days to get college girls over to his house.
I do not think people realize how out of control he was in Oxford before Landry moved.

So now ole miss wants outrage that Lane left his dog, but they were fine with him really never keeping it while he had it. They instead promoted it all to give themselves attention.
Ole Miss and fans are perfect for tik tok.

Lane fit them better than any coach that have ever or will ever have. Their fan base and Lane both live by the creed of: “Perception is Reality”

Exactly.
Lane was the answer to the question, "What if Ole Miss was a person?"

You left out Hugh Freeze**

Yea Pete is behind the 8 ball. But hey, they're going to pay him a ton of money and whether it works out or not he'll never have to work another day in his life.
