A really big kick in the Balls
goes to the City of Oxford. They were expecting a huge financial impact for a home game and also next year. I wonder how many future financial investments in Real estate just got blown out of the water. Seems the same thing happened to Starkville when Mul Left.

To me it seems the AD at OM really screwed the pooch
Everyone it seemed knew Lane was leaving OM, be it to UF, LSU, or the NFL, everyone seemed to know he was leaving OM except the OM AD
Once Lane refused to sign the extension Carter had two choices in a bad situation such as this:
1) Suspend Kiffin immediately, keep him away from the program and hope you can prevent him from poaching players, staff, NIL donors etc and began a coaching search
2) Let Lane Kiffin coach OM as far as he can get them since it will probably be another century before OM gets this close to a Natty again. Lane is likely going to be able to raid staff, players, recruits, NIL donors etc anyway so you might as well roll the dice and try to get a Natty out of it
Instead Carter let the uncertainty metastasize, let the staff and recruits sit in limbo, let fans emotionally unravel and let LSU dictate the rhythm

So when I told my Bro that their D was almost as bad as ours he said they won more games because of their D

Ask yourself this, would they have hired Golding a week ago? Did another sec team looking for a coach even have him as a finalist?
They are hoping they find lightning in a bottle

And he is facing a uninspired pissed off team who probably looking at other teams instead of focusing on getting ready for the next game. Just think what happens if they don't host.

They will support him, bc he wanted to stay and coach their beloved Rebels. His family are really great people, and his wife LOVES Oxford!! We?re glad Lane left. He doesn?t deserve to live here, blah, blah, blah.

Why wouldn?t you want to live in a town if you look like a goddess in a town that worships money and beauty.

They had one of the worst defenses in the SEC.

Yep their rush D but he is like most of them, We're OM and we're special. I just hate it for the people who have invested a lot of their own money on the Actions of a little spoiled brat.

Didn't Saban let him go a few years ago?

A football weekend there has become and economic windfall for the entire area. I believe that this was a factor in the panic hire of Golding. The area is raking in cash both short term and long term and the area is flourishing along with the university.

Pete will be there maybe 2 years tops and then they go hunting.
This is our window to get OUR STATE back.

Big OM neighbor just bought a condo up there on the premise that LK would be up there. Now he thinking about trying to unload it. He pissed at both the AD and LK cause now they're stuck with their version of Leb.

More like their version of Arnett.
